Terms of Service
Last updated: September 19, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or otherwise using TalaBenta ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. What TalaBenta Is
TalaBenta is a product of Zanortech Services — a back-office management tool, your digital sales ledger, designed to simplify inventory tracking, daily sales logging, GCash records, and pautang management for sari-sari stores and other small retail businesses.
It is strictly a digital notebook, not a point-of-sale (POS) terminal or cash register. TalaBenta is not accredited by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and does not generate official receipts. Store owners remain fully responsible for their own tax compliance and regulatory requirements.
3. Accounts & Eligibility
You must provide accurate information when creating a TalaBenta account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account, including entries made by staff you allow to use it.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create a TalaBenta account.
4. Your Store Data
Everything you record in TalaBenta — inventory counts, sales entries, GCash transaction notes, and pautang (utang) records — is entered and maintained by you or your staff. TalaBenta does not verify the accuracy of this data and is not a party to any transaction, loan, or GCash payment you record.
You are solely responsible for reconciling your records against your actual cash, GCash, and inventory on hand, and for collecting on any pautang you extend to customers.
5. Subscription & Payments
TalaBenta offers a Starter (free) plan, which remains available indefinitely with reduced feature limits as described on our Pricing page, and paid plans with additional features.
TalaBenta does not currently process payments through an automated payment gateway. To subscribe to a paid plan or renew an existing subscription, you must submit proof of payment (such as a GCash reference number and transaction screenshot) through the Service. Our team reviews and manually approves or rejects each submission. Your plan is not activated or renewed until a submission has been approved.
If a subscription renewal payment is not confirmed by its due date, your account enters a 7-day grace period during which your paid plan remains fully active. If no payment is approved before the grace period ends, your account automatically reverts to the Starter plan. Your previously recorded data is retained; only access to paid-tier features is affected.
Prices, features, and add-ons may change; we will give reasonable notice of changes that affect your active subscription. Amounts paid are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
6. Admin Account Access
Authorized TalaBenta staff may, in limited circumstances, access your account directly for support, troubleshooting, or fraud-prevention purposes. This access requires deliberate staff authorization and is logged for accountability. We do not access your account to view or use your data for any purpose other than assisting you or maintaining the integrity of the Service.
7. Marketplace Listing
TalaBenta offers an optional public Marketplace where eligible store owners may choose to list their store. Marketplace listing is available only to stores on qualifying plans and is never enabled automatically — you must expressly opt in through your account settings.
If you opt in, the store information you choose to display (which may include your store name, category, general location, and any products or services you individually mark as visible) will be publicly viewable by visitors to our website. You control exactly what is shown and may disable Marketplace listing, or remove individual items from public display, at any time. Marketplace listings do not display your inventory quantities, sales data, or any other operational information beyond what you explicitly choose to show.
8. Referral Rewards
TalaBenta may offer a referral program allowing you to earn account credit by referring other store owners who become paying subscribers. Referral credit has no cash value, cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash, and may only be applied toward your own TalaBenta subscription fees. Unused credit is forfeited if your account is closed.
We reserve the right to void referral credit obtained through fraudulent, abusive, or manipulated referral activity, including but not limited to self-referral through multiple accounts. We will provide a reason if credit is voided.
9. Your Customers' Information (Pautang Records)
Pautang (utang/credit) records you create in TalaBenta may contain personal information about your own customers, such as their names and amounts owed. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have an appropriate basis to record and retain this information about your customers, and for handling it in accordance with applicable law. TalaBenta is not a party to these records and does not independently verify their accuracy.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use TalaBenta to store or process unlawful content, to misrepresent transactions for fraudulent purposes, or to attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.
11. Intellectual Property
TalaBenta, its logo, and its software are owned by Zanortech Services. Your store data remains yours — we do not claim ownership over the records you create.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is." We work to keep TalaBenta reliable and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a specific regulatory purpose, including BIR receipt issuance or official bookkeeping.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zanortech Services is not liable for losses arising from inventory discrepancies, uncollected pautang, GCash disputes, tax penalties, or other business decisions made using data recorded in the Service.
14. Termination
You may stop using TalaBenta and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to other users or to the Service.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of TalaBenta after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines.
17. General Provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Zanortech Services regarding the Service. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets; you may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent.
18. Contact Us
Questions about these Terms can be sent to our support team through the contact channels listed on our website.
